  1. Hi Jose,
Thanks for working to keep us all moving in the right direction. Please include my email in your blog about how to work with insurance companies. Also, what do you know about Medicaid now reimbursing for BCBAs. I keep hearing from parents that CMS is approving 12 hours/month and the Public Health Trust is not handling Medicaid.
Any information you can share will be deeply appreciated.

  2. Hi Silvia,
We are working with The Public Health Trust (UMBH) with regards to Medicaid patients. So far we understand that UMBH will cover ABA therapy if the recipient is under CMS title 21. I am not sure of how many hours we will be getting for each patient. Their hours structure is not what we are accustomed to under the waiver. We are only on single case agreements until they have established a protocol for credentialing behavior analysts.

  3. To all others providers it was discussed during the meeting with Gina Green that a company was doing credentialing work at the rate of $3500 for agency and $2500 for individual providers. We are seeking out this company, to assist in getting our credentialing completed as they can credential for the eight of the big insurers, Humana, BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, etc. Please identify company and providers.
